Dr. Doris Feitler > Veterinarian

Dr. Doris Feitler |
Dr. Feitler has been practicing veterinary medicine since
1982. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology
from the University of Toronto, she applied to the Ontario Veterinary
College at the University of Guelph and graduated as a Doctor
of Veterinary Medicine. She returned to the college in 1983
to pursue an internship program and obtain a diploma in small
animal surgery and medicine. Over the years, Dr. Feitler has
worked with companion animals as a research associate, as an
emergency clinician, as a house call practitioner, and as a
private practitioner.
She purchased South Shore Veterinary Clinic in April 1997 and
continues to be the presiding veterinarian caring for patients
of this Georgina practice. |
Kelly W. > Practice Manager

Kelly W. |
Kelly brings a strong customer service background to South
Shore Veterinary Clinic. As well as having owned her own small
business, Kelly has held several management positions. Her love
of animals and people led her to our door. Since joining our
hospital she has completed the Veterinary Hospital Management
program offered at St. Lawrence College in Kingston. Kelly takes
part in many continuing education courses, including accounting,
and computer updating. She is currently working towards her
Veterinary Hospital Managers designation. |
Cathy > Office Manager >
Joined South Shore Veterinary Clinic in 2000

Cathy |
Cathy has worked in the Veterinary industry since 1989. Her
special animal interests are cats, and reptiles. She has many
hobbies such as gardening, watching movies and caring for her
3 cats. She has a passion for animals and has worked with rescue
organizations to assist and place stray and injured pets. Her
3 cats, Petee, Milly and Molly were adopted through the clinic.
Molly was part of a young orphaned litter Cathy cared for and
bottle-fed until the age of adoption. |
Karen> Registered Veterinary
Technician > Joined South Shore Veterinary Clinic in 1988

Karen |
As the longest standing staff member at South Shore, Karen
brings animal and medical experience to the team. She is dedicated
to pet health and safety, and takes initiative to constantly
improve client and patient services and procedures. Karen's
knowledge of veterinary medicine, and passion for her profession
makes her invaluable to the animal hospital. Karen graduated
from St. Lawrence College as a registered veterinary technician
in 1981. She has owned a variety of pets including dogs, cats,
guinea pigs, hamsters and mice. |
Jenna > Veterinary Assistant
> Joined South Shore Veterinary Clinic in 2010
Jenna |
Jenna graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at
Georgian College in 2009 and is currently working toward her
Registered Veterinary Technician designation. Jenna has a special
interest in dentistry. Outside of work, you can find Jenna helping
out on her family farm or riding her horses Bandit and Gypsy.
Jenna also enjoys spending time with her dog Indie and her cats
Bowie and Jinx. |
Jess Feitler >
Jess |
Jesse started at South Shore as an animal care attendant and
has since taken over the responsibilities of reception. Her
love of animals developed as a young girl and grew as years
passed and different kinds of animals were brought home as pets.
Jesse now attends York University studying History and Native
Studies. When she is not working, Jesse can be found playing
with her dog Bailey, who she rescued as a puppy. |
