This portion of the website was constructed in order to help owners and lost pets to reunite.  For best results, it is recommended that only pets lost in or around the Township of Georgina be posted, due to the clinic location.   Animals lost in other regions can use resources found in the Pet Owner Resources page. Use one of the links below to view our listings of lost and found animals and/or to send us information about a lost or found animal. We will post the information on this website.

South Shore Veterinary Clinic keeps a phone log of lost and found pets, and provides a community message board for posting flyers.   Animal Control/Humane Societies can also be contacted to surrender found animals or retrieve lost pets.   The phone numbers are provided below:

Although losing your pet can be very upsetting it is important to not give up. Many owners and pets have been reunited weeks, months and sometimes years later.   Ensuring your pet is identifiable can increase the rate at which they are found and returned.   Engraved tags, or microchips are two means of identifying your pet and its owner.
