The reception area leads directly into one of
two exam rooms. The technician and the veterinarian will meet with
you and your pet in the exam rooms to take a medical history and
perform a physical exam. Minor procedures are also performed in
the exam rooms. Each room contains equipment for diagnosis and client
education. For example, a radiographic illuminator allows owners
to view x-rays of their pets. A Video Path viewer enables pet owners
to see their pet's ear canals on the TV screen while the veterinarian
is performing an otoscopic exam.
